
“At the June 9 borough council meeting, one resident expressed some concern over the loss of greenspace in the park with the addition of the concrete skating surfaces. But Katahwa assured the resident that the area that had once been the old skateboarding area is now a micro-forest. So there is now, effectively, more greenspace in Benny Park than there was before.
The skatepark features a 9-and-a-half-foot deep cloverleaf bowl, and mini ramp (3 feet), and a street section, with several modules – pyramids, China brick bank, a 20-foot flatbar, and others.”
